For what it's worth, my opinion is that we need to see what they come up with before we judge it. Both Ron Moore and J.J. Abrams took a lot of heat for their takes on, respectively, Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek. In the case of BSG, the changes were obviously quite successful, and in terms of Trek, mass skepticism has actually turned into excitement and anticipation. Hopefully the same thing will happen with this version of "V".
